Samuel Kimball
(Richard, Thomas, Richard)

Samuel was born in Bradford, MA in March of 1685-6 and died in Plainfield, CT in 1748

He married on January 1, 1713 to Sarah Spofford, his cousin, the daughter of John and Sarah (Wheeler) Spofford, who was born on December 20, 1693.  John Spofford was a brother of the Sarah Spofford who married Samuel's father, Richard Kimball.

He lived in Bradford, MA, in 1723, when he bought one hundred acres of land in Pomfret, CT.  The same year he went to Hampton, CT, where his descendants were living a century later.  His will was made January 1, 1748, and approved April 8, 1748.  He then resided at Plainfield, CT.
