Abel Kimball
(Richard, Thomas, Thomas, John)

Abel was born in Bradford, MA on February 10, 1731 and died on June 4,1790.

He married on October 4, 1753 at Boxford, MA to Sarah Pearl.  She was born in 1735 and died on March 29, 1760.

He married, second, on January 5, 1762 to Mary Haggett.

On June 12, 1780, Lieut. Abel Kimball was appointed on a committee to raise men for the army by the town of Bradford.  On April 19, 1775, Abel Kimball of Bradford served five days.  On November 30, 1775, Lieut. Abel Kimball marched to Gloucester to guard a brig there, laden with stores taken on its way to Boston.  In February, 1776, Lieut. Abel Kimball was in Jonathan Foster's Co., Huntingdon's Regiment, raised to reinforce the Continental army.  On December 22, 1776, he was in service in the same company at Roxbury.  After the war he was always called "Lieut. Abel."

Resided in Bradford, MA.

6.  Abel (6-612), b. 14 June 1768; d. 9 Sep 1846

7.  Thomas (6-613), b. 11 Nov 1771

8.  Henry (6-614), b. 2 Jan 1773

9.  Manuel (6), b. 7 Nov 1775; d. 13 Nov 1858.  He was deaf and dumb.

10.  John (6-615), b. 4 Oct 1778; d. 17 Sep 1868
