Daniel Kimball
(Richard, Benjamin, Jonathan, Nathaniel)

Daniel was born in Bradford, MA on June 11, 1747.  He drowned in the Merrimack River while returning from the marsh with a boat load of hay on August 19, 1800.

He married in Rowley, MA on January 12, 1769 to Elizabeth Tenney.  She was born on February 5, 1753 and died on November 9, 1836.

They resided in Bradford, MA.

While not serving in the army, he was very active in town affairs at the time of the Revolution.  He was town treasurer for a number of years, and frequently selectman.  He is called Daniel Kimball Jr., on the town books to distinguish him from Capt. Daniel Kimball.  He was appointed Lieutenant in the Fourth Co. of the Third Regiment, Essex County Division, 17 June 1786, and after that date was known as Lieut. Daniel Kimball.  He was an intelligent farmer and a diligent and successful business man of the strictest integrity.
