Dudley Kimball

Dudley was born in Bradford, MA on April 21, 1761 and died on December 21, 1833
He married Eunice Batchelder, who died of consumption on April 6, 1804, at age 35.
He settled in Hampstead, NH. He was a blacksmith by trade, and the following extract in regard to him is found on the NH records:
"This is to certify that Dudley Kimball of Hampstead
ahs made and caused to be made in his work shop, one hundred thousand of six
penny wrought nails as he has made appear to the subscribers.
Attest
Wm Marshall John True Selectman
Hampstead, Feb 6, 1792"
The Hampstead records also report the following: "Under the care of the town at Timothy Smith's plunged a long knife into the pit of his stomach aged about 73. 41 years ago he was one of the selectmen of the town of Hampstead. Let him who thinketh he standeth take heed less he fall."
