Aaron was born in Boxford, MA on July 24, 1759
He married in Reading, VT on January 10, 1788 to Rebecca Wood. She died in Reading, VT on December 12, 1788
He married, second, in Princeton, MA on Jul 1, 1794 to Polly Mirick. She is the daughter of Caleb and Eunice (Jones) Mirick, born Princeton on April 29, 1768 and died in Lancaster, MA on July 27 1832.
About 1782, Aaron, in company with Moses and Mary Chaplin of Rindge, NH went to Reading, VT. He purchased a homestead near the Chaplins. The lands were near primeval state, inhabitants and provisions scarce.
In 1783 he was constable, and in 1786 one of the town appointed to "perambulate the lines between Windsor & Reading." He was a representative in 1793, and selectman from 1786 to 1792.
In 1793 he purchased 190 acres of land, with buildings, from John Mar, Jr., in Sterling, MA. He was living in Sterling shortly after this. He was town clerk and assessor in 1798. In 1800 he was pew holder in the Second meeting house of Sterling, and in 1814 he was one of the seven leading citizens appointed to talk with Rev. Reuben Holcomb "to see what terms if any he will relinquish his pastoral office in this town."

2. Polly (7), b. 10 Feb 1795; m. in Sterling, as his second wife, 25 Apr 1816, Isaac Child of Lancaster, MA, the son of Moses and Sarah (Styles) Child. He d. Lancaster, 23 Feb 1840.
3. Eunice (7-875), b. 12 Oct 1797; d. 1, Jul 1878
