Isaac Kimball
(Richard, Richard, John, Richard, Richard)

Isaac was born in Boxford, MA on June 2nd, 1765 and died in Reading, VT on December 27, 1843.

He married on March 31, 1785 to Mary Sawyer, the daughter of Joseph and Hannah (Hutchings) Sawyer.  She was born in Pomfret, CT on August 9, 1765 and died in Reading, VT on August 16, 1743.

Isaac was of good height, erect, spare, had a grave but pleasant countenance.  He was polite and courtly, and intelligent and successful farmer.  No man in town was more highly respected.  Mrs. Kimball was in some respects his opposite; she was stout and loquacious, while he was taciturn.  She could make herself heard, whether in censure or praise, in laughter or repartee.
