Lemuel was born in Boxford, MA, on April 1, 1766 and died in Madison, OH, on April 20, 1824.
He married in Rindge, NH on August 22, 1793 to Polly Cutler, the daughter of Solomon Cutler of Rindge, NH. She was born on April 16, 1770 and died in Madison, OH on May 25, 1863.
He resided in Rindge, NH until the summer of 1812, when he removed to Madison, OH. He was a carpenter and a farmer. He and his brother, Abel, became proprietors of a great tract of land. He died in the Christian faith, greatly respected.

4. Orianda (7), b. Rindge, 1 Apr 1803; d. Van Wort, OH; m. 1834, Horatio N Sweet of Van Wort. They had two sons and two daughters
5. Addison (7-10012), b. Rindge, 19 Jul 1806; d. Madison, OH, 23 Dec 1893
6. Mary Parker (7), b. Rindge, 23 Apr 1809; m. 1842, Dr. Philo Tilden of Cleveland, OH, and died soon after.
7. Nancy J (7), b. Madison, OH, 23 Apr 1815; m. 1837, Judge David R Page of Painsville, OH. They had five children, four sons and a daughter, who died young.
