Hello and welcome to the Kimball Family Tree!

Get ready to spend some time online and check out all the information!  Please note that information is added to the tree as time allows and therefore is not a complete listing by any means of our family.

Below the person's name on each page is their tree backwards as such.....

The numbering system is as below....

John Kimball #61 in the Kimball Family History Revised is number 4-61 on this site meaning 4 (4th Generation) and 61 (#61 in the History).

In the case of Jerusha Kimball Batchelder, his daughter, she is numbered 5-1008 meaning 5 (5th Generation) and 1008 (un-numbered in the History). 

In order to have an easy to use system of tracking those un-numbered but relevant family members that have sprouted off to the sides of the History book, I have devised this simple numbering system.  It allows for tracking the person's personal history without mucking up their parents pages.  It also allows for other relevant data to be added at later times as new family members are added to the tree - like when someone needs to prove we are related to Abe Lincoln and follows one tree branch to it's limits!!!
