MARRIED:  Mar 3, 1828 to Mary Ann Baker in Andover, NH   

DIED:  March 28, 1877 in Hopkinton, NH

BURIED:  

Hazen always resided in Hopkinton, NH.  In early life, he attended the school of Master John O. Ballard.  

He was a farmer, lumberman, miller, road and bridge builder.  He was a Justice of the Peace and Colonel of the 43rd Regiment of NH Militia

In 1830, 1831, 1836 and 1840, he was collector of taxes.  

He was an earnest Christian and a leader in his town in the temperance and anti-slavery reforms

Mary Ann Baker was the daughter of Marshall and Naomi (Hoyt) Baker of Concord.  She was born on March 1, 1802 in Rumford, ME and died on Nov 3, 1877
