KimballFamily.com Tree Numbering System
Okay, so I'm going to stick with the numbering system I was using on the old KimballFamily.com website on it's family tree. It opens up a lot of room for other families to link into the Kimball Family Tree!
There are two different types of numbers as shown below....
Benjamin Kimball (2-10) - This stands for 2nd Generation (2) and the Kimball Family History Book person number 10 (10)
or
Anna Kimball Barker (3-1000) - This stands for 3rd Generation (3) and my High Number System which usually starts with 1000. These are people (usually wives and their parentage or children's trees not followed) that need further expansion information (Anna's kids and family) that shouldn't be taking up a lot of space on other's pages (her dad Benjamin's). Each generation starts with it's own set of High Number's starting with 1000 until we have to jump to 10,000 with lots of people's numbers getting higher!
If and when these persons are documented in Kimball Family Association updates and given their own numbers, it will be changed on this website.
KimballFamily.com Family Lineage Lines
Under each person's name I am breaking down their basic information (Birth, Death, Marriage, Buried Location) as well as their family line in the Kimball Family Tree.
Each person's line will always start with Richard Kimball the first Kimball in America and then down through the generations left to right. Each predecessor will be named and linked to their page so you can follow their family tree backwards and forwards.
